Tzu Chi Organization 

Back-to-School Drive

For 30 years, Tzu Chi, USA has provided relief with compassion and love to those needing it most. From victims of hurricanes, wildfires and flooding to those who fall below the poverty line, their volunteers help provide relief that includes shelter, food, cash cards… and it all comes with their love and compassion with hope to build a better world.

Achieving wellbeing is the essence of human existence, but a variety of obstacles can hinder the goal and cause misery. Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation is an international humanitarian organization whose mission is to relieve the suffering of those in need, and create a better world for all.

In Chinese, “tzu” means compassion, and “chi” relief: with open hearts and helping hands, our volunteers are here to serve you.

George Washington Elemenetary School

Back-to-School Drive

George Washington Elementary has an enrollment of 365 students from kindergarten through the fifth grade. Their school serves an ethnically diverse community that is reflected by their students. over 70% of whom come from homes where English is not the first language. Their ultimate goal at George Washington Elementary School is to help each students become a productive member of the community

George Washington Elementary School is a collaborative community of learners where teachers, students, families, and the community grow and facilitate each child’s journey to reach his or her potential and to become a life long learner and thinker.
