FUNDA MERIC-BERNSTAM, M.D.

Funda Meric-Bernstam is the Chair of the Department of Investigational Cancer Therapeutics – the Phase I Program at MD Anderson Cancer Center, the Medical Director of the Institute for Personalized Cancer Therapy, and The Nellie B. Connally Chair in Breast Cancer.  She is a clinical trialist with a focus on precision oncology, biomarker-driven clinical trials, and antibody-drug conjugates. She is a physician-scientist with a basic and translational research program focused on biomarker discovery, and novel combinations with a focus on patient-derived models.
